Sergio Corvacho

As a professional fashion photographer, Corvacho has a delicate sense of color, he tried to use as many colors as possible. He is particularly interested in playing with color combinations, such as contrasting colors and the interesting palettes that are created by both the subjects and the ambience where they are surrounded by. This echoes his aim of creating photographic works, which is to capture the personalities of the people in environments that are special to them. These places are truly connected with them that make them alive. Rather than imposing aesthetic decisions on his subjects, Corvacho prefers to illustrate the universes of these dazzling ladies naturally. All of his works faithfully represent particular days, and particular moments of these subjects.

In this series of photos selected by the Chroma Extravaganza team, instead of strong color impressions, the subjects are all strong individuals. We can see the “gaucho chic” aesthete and fashion designer Sofia Achaval, the glamorously audacious Interior designer Maryam Mahdavi, the elegant and nonchalant Colombian fashion designer Silvia Tcherassi, and the eclectic globetrotter and designer Iacobella Gaetani. All of them have a unique style, which acted as the inspiration per se and they are all perfect styles to the photographer’s eyes. Corvacho thinks the beauty for him is to be able to spot these amazing personalities and capture them as they are.
